Basic data on the Association for Intercultural Activities and the Rescue of Heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina / AIASN, Sarajevo
The Association for Intercultural Activities and the Rescue of Heritage in BiH, AIASN, has been founded in 1992, and has been registered at the Higher Court in Sarajevo with decision no. R II-l 14/92 dated on 07.12.1992. The basic goals and objectives determined by the afore mentioned decision have been „to develop an interest for the culture of Republic of BiH , for its immovable and movable heritage, and particularly for its multicultural values..., and to act as such on the territory of Republic of BiH". Immediately after the conditions under new circumstances have been met, it has been registered at the Ministry of Justice of BiH with a decision no. RU -87/93 dated on 08.04.2003. Goals, that is, activities for which the association has been founded, have been explicitly determined in the afore mentioned decision, and it is stated that the AIASN will, among other things, do the following: «-Initiate the collection of, coordinate activities, or collect and process on its own all relevant data of interest for the issue of material and nonmaterial culture of BiH, particularly in the domain of historical heritage;
-Initiate, coordinate the work of, or lead on its own actions/activities with the aim of public presentation of certain values in the domain of culture, and with the aim of raising awareness on own values in this area;
-Initiate and coordinate, or start on its own, activities for international networking of the Association with the relevant institutions and organizations abroad, all with the aim of multicultural promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, presenting the values of its cultural goods, as well as technical cooperation in this field..."
